Product guide

From a signal to a closed position.

Follow the complete signalToOrder workflow: what gets automated, when an order is sent, how a position is managed, and what confirms its exit.

Illustrative examples · No live account data

A signal, an order and a position are different things. A signal can expire without an order. An order can be submitted without a confirmed fill. A position is closed only when its remaining quantity is zero and the exchange evidence confirms the exit.

The overview groups positions, signal review, automation status and activity. Always check the selected account. Status badges here belong to the illustrative fixture.

01 · How a message becomes a signal

Ingestion is read-only. Receiving a Telegram message is not permission to trade.

Read and structure

The service stores the message with its channel and message identity. The parser extracts the instrument, LONG or SHORT direction, entry range, Stop Loss and five Take Profit targets.

Verify the setup

AI verification checks the interpretation of the setup. AI verified does not predict profitability or bypass account, market or risk checks. The instrument must also resolve to a supported exchange market.

Find the matching card

In Telegram, find the original message. In Signals, use All and search for the instrument. Match the channel, time, direction and entry range: several signals can refer to the same market.

02 · What enables automatic execution

Autopilot, the Trade Manager and execution permissions are separate controls. Check each one for the intended account.

OFF / SHADOW / ON

OFF stops new automatic entries. SHADOW evaluates and records decisions without its own exchange submissions, closes, cancellations or protection changes. ON allows eligible automatic entries. Other independently authorized flows must be checked separately.

Account, channel and permissions

The account must be ready, the signal’s channel must be enabled for execution, and execution permissions must allow the action. A monitored Telegram channel is not automatically an enabled execution channel. The manager’s manual/auto mode is a separate setting.

Emergency execution lock

The kill switch is an independent execution gate. Activating it is not a command to close every position. Do not assume changing an automation mode cancels existing exchange orders or protections.

03 · When an order is sent

Passing AI verification is only one step. The backend recalculates eligibility using current market and account data.

Price and time window

Automatic entry requires an actionable market proposal within the allowed entry range. Outside that range, this flow waits and rechecks while the signal remains eligible; it does not automatically submit a pending limit order. Expiry ends the opportunity for a new entry, not an existing position.

Risk and executable size

Configured risk estimates loss to the Stop Loss; it is not position notional or margin. Quantity must satisfy exchange increments, minimum order sizes, available margin and configured caps. Where enabled, sizing may increase only as much as needed to make the TP allocations executable, within Max Risk and all other limits.

Persist, submit, reconcile

The intent and entry policy are stored before possible dispatch. The exchange response is then checked. A timeout is an uncertain outcome, not proof of failure: the system must reconcile instead of blindly submitting again. Manual entry has its own fresh quote and explicit confirmation flow.

04 · Read the status without guessing

The signal card describes the signal workflow. Positions and exchange history describe exposure and fills.

PENDING / BLOCKED / EXPIRED

PENDING means the signal is still in the entry workflow, not necessarily actionable. BLOCKED means a required check did not pass. EXPIRED means the entry window ended. Read the displayed reason rather than treating every verified signal as executable.

SUBMITTED / EXECUTED

SUBMITTED records an order submission. EXECUTED is used when the entry response reports FILLED. Neither means the position has closed. Confirm the actual side, remaining quantity and average entry in Positions.

Needs review

Uncertain execution or mismatched records may pause the workflow for reconciliation. An unavailable instrument warning today does not establish that an older submission failed. Compare the relevant signal, position and execution evidence.

Positions shows side, quantity and average entry separately from signal status. A changing unrealized PnL is not the final result of a completed trade.

05 · What manages the open position

The manager follows the entry policy saved for that trade. New settings do not silently rewrite an existing trade’s historical plan.

Stop Loss and Take Profits

The manager confirms fills and manages the saved protection plan. The selected entry mode determines which protections are set at entry and which are completed afterward. Target prices and quantities are adjusted to the exchange’s permitted increments.

Partial exits

TP1–TP4 may reduce the position in parts. In the sl-with-entire-tp5 plan, TP5 is stored using the original entry quantity so it can close whatever remains. Do not add that original TP5 quantity as an extra partial allocation.

Saved plan ≠ active protection

A local SL price or protection ID is not proof of a currently active exchange SL. Read-only comparison can expose differences, but incomplete or paginated evidence cannot certify the entire active protection set. Missing or ambiguous SL evidence requires review, not an invented replacement.

This fixture deliberately shows a needs-review position. Saved settings describe the manager’s record; they do not, on their own, prove which protections are active at the exchange.

06 · When break-even can happen

Touching the TP1 price is not the trigger. The manager needs exchange-confirmed completion of TP1.

After full TP1 completion

When the saved policy and execution permissions allow it, the manager attempts to move the existing Stop Loss to the actual entry price, rounded to the market’s price increment. Partial TP1 execution or a Telegram TP announcement is not enough.

Safety checks still apply

An already better stop is preserved. The update is skipped if it would trigger immediately or if protection checks do not pass. Break-even at the entry price does not guarantee a zero net result after fees, funding and slippage.

07 · When the position closes

The remaining exchange quantity must reach zero. A closed signal card is not a substitute for that evidence.

Stop Loss or final Take Profit

An active SL can close the remaining quantity, including after a break-even move. The final TP can close what remains after partial exits. A stop-loss exit after earlier profitable TPs does not automatically mean the entire trade lost money.

Manual exit or eligible replacement

An authorized manual close can exit the position. In the replacement flow, a new eligible setup may lead to closing the previous exposure, confirming a flat position and checking old protections before the successor entry. An opposite Telegram message alone does not prove any of these actions completed.

Confirm the outcome

Use remaining quantity, order/fill history and the recorded activity together. The old position can close without a new one opening if the successor expires or becomes ineligible. A ‘manually’ history label alone does not prove a human pressed the button.

Your quick check, from start to finish

  • Telegram: identify the original message.
  • Signals: match the setup and read eligibility or blocking reasons.
  • Settings: check account, channels, automation modes, permissions and risk limits.
  • Positions: verify side, actual quantity and average entry.
  • Position details: read the saved policy and confirm exchange protections separately.
  • Activity, Alerts and exchange history: establish what executed and whether any quantity remains.

Operational documentation, not financial advice or a promise of returns. Examples are illustrative; actual behavior depends on the saved trade policy, effective settings, permissions and exchange state.
